Tamara Lackey Workshop in London

First few days of the summer I did a brilliant workshop in London with one of the premiere children's photographers, Tamara Lackey. She's one of my heros for sure, the pure amount of energy and fun she has on a shoot takes her photos and the experience to the next level.

There is a lot of noise! "HALLLLLLLOOOOOOOOO!" Tamara will shreek at a child, and they love it."GET BACK HERE!" as she chases them with the camera. She strikes up exactly the kind of hilarious banter that kids love. There are no "NO's!" it's lots of running around and laughter. She has a knack of making children, whatever their personality, relax and come up trumps.

A great group of photographers had come from round the world and we all dived in..photographing children models in Kensington Gardens, having honest chats during class time and listening to wisdom from a lady who knows a lot about the wonderful world of photography. 

The workshop has definitely given me a kick up the bum, here is my first blog post.
